My place

  I've spent years exploring this dunes over and over again. Running and rolling all day in those dunes... I just wanted to do that every day, I didn't need more than that. 

  Now that I've grown, I find myself craving a different life, but I can't deny the pleasure of watching the sun goes down here... it's still perfect. In this quiet place I can rest my head and think clearly.

  This is and always will be a special place of mine.

  This makes me happy every time. It's always so quiet, so peaceful, so perfect.

Little paradise

  When it is hot, but not enough to go to the beach, it's good to have another solution. Our alternative was to drive a few miles and explore this natural beauty in the heart of the mountain.

  Here we spent a calm afternoon, swimming and making jumps into the water. It was an amazing afternoon.

Wheat fields

  Agriculture is one of the main activities of my region which means that this is a common Spring landscape in Alentejo. The extensive wheat fields are now growing and glowing in the sunny days of May. 

  I just wish I could spend all day reading in a hammock here.

Beach

  The rain stopped and the sunny days are back. It's spring but it feels like summer. No better way to enjoy that than a walk on the beach.

  My four-legged friend, Eddie. So cute.

  Eddie seems to be a quiet dog, but actually he must be one of the worst dogs in the world! He never stops, he runned all afternoon and chased all the people who were walking on the beach. He's really crazy, but I adore him. He appears in almost all photos because he was always chasing something.

  Spring arrived on a sunny day, perfect for a walk. My first flower shoot of the season: this tiny cute flower.

Winter Winds

  The 21th was considered to be "end of the world" for some, but to others, like me, it was just the first day of winter. The sun was so amazing today and the temperature so nice... a perfect day to go for a walk.

  As I said before, there's nothing as beautiful as the winter sun and the little plants that can still survive to the cold that spreads through the air.

Last autumn day

  As 21th approaches, autumn goes away for another year. This perfect season of sunsets and beautiful colours is starting to be replaced by the cold and frosty mornings. But, before it ends, there’s nothing like a goodbye on the beach and a good company.

Porto Côvo

  Near where I live there are some great places to spend holidays. We have the most amazing beaches of our country. Many foreigner come here to bathe in our great atlantic sea water, to eat our delicious food, to drink our fantastic wines and beers and to experience the peace of our region.

  This little town named Porto Côvo is also famous for its Moor Castle and its little island (Ilha do Pessegueiro). Both places have beautiful surroundings where you can admire the nature in its fullness.

  Porto Côvo is crowded in the summer because of all its natural attractions and good restaurants. The landscapes are unique and the people are very friendly. It's a great way to relax and enjoy the beaches. That's why it's a destination mostly chosen by families.

Summer way

  These photos were taken in Vila Nova de Milfontes. The river that passes through the village (Rio Mira) meets the sea here (as you can see in the first photo).

   The best part is that the day ends with a beautiful sunset.
